Jérémie returns to his home village for the funeral of his former boss, the local baker. He decides to stay for a few days with the widow, but his presence triggers tension and suspicion among the neighbors. When a local man goes missing, the quiet village life turns into a web of secrets and unexpected twists. “Misericordia” is a provocative and ironic look at human desire and guilt, masterfully balancing between a noir thriller and dark comedy in the heart of the French countryside.
