Mariana Malin has everything she could wish for: passion, work, love—until she and her husband become victims of a terrorist attack in the middle of Vienna. The physical wounds heal quickly, but Mariana’s trauma is so deep that she escapes to her grandparents’ abandoned countryside house. As she wanders through the forest, she slowly reconnects with the freedom she once felt as a child—though old wounds also resurface.
