The stories of four women, each at a different stage of life, facing different problems, yet all haunted by the oppressive feeling that the meaninglessness around them is becoming increasingly overwhelming. In conflict with age, femininity, love, and pain, they long for change — radical, painful, yet life-giving. But don’t overthink them. They are women, and they can bear the consequences of every mistake they make — even those made by others.
