Assia Kovanova
Assia Kovanova is a director, screenwriter, producer, illustrator, and designer born in Sofia. She graduated in animation directing from NATFA and specialized in cinematography. She has taught animation at Varna Free University and is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers and ASIFA Bulgaria. She is also the organizer and designer of the World Festival of Animated Film – Varna. She works as an illustrator, designer, and creator of animated and documentary films.
