18-year-old Geri is about to graduate from high school. For her, this moment is more important than for her peers, as she will have to leave the residential care home where she grew up. While studying for her exams, she dreams of going to university, prepares for her prom, and, with the help of her older foster brother, tries to understand why their mother abandoned her.

Tonislav Hristov is an acclaimed screenwriter, director, and producer with international recognition since 2005. He studied film directing in Finland and has participated in prestigious programs such as Documentary Campus and the Berlinale Talent Campus. His documentaries, including “Love & Engineering”, “Soul Food Stories”, and “The Rules of Single Life”, have been showcased at major film festivals like Sundance, Karlovy Vary, IDFA, and Tribeca, earning numerous awards.
