Tarik Saleh
Tarik Saleh (born 1972 in Stockholm) is a Swedish film director of Egyptian descent. He began his career as a prominent graffiti artist before transitioning to documentaries and feature films. He gained international acclaim for his gripping political thrillers “The Nile Hilton Incident” (Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, 2017) and “Boy from Heaven” (Best Screenplay at Cannes, 2022). Saleh is a master of suspenseful storytelling, using his work to dissect corruption and the mechanisms of power in modern society.
