Adriano lives in isolation in an old Tuscan villa, haunted by guilt. When a group of young people occupy the property to revive the abandoned vineyards, he reluctantly becomes involved in their enthusiasm and meets Matilde — a young woman connected to his past. Gradually, their coexistence transforms the silence of grief into a process of healing and a new beginning.
A poignant story about pain, responsibility, and the possibility of starting anew, the film is built on the contrast between isolation and community. It reflects on how “five seconds” of hesitation can change a person’s life.
