Grandma Genoveva has been confined to her bed for years, with no loved ones and her only wish being to die. It is on her birthday that seventy-year-old Vasil – a “veteran” prisoner – is released. His first step outside is a robbery – with the intention of returning to his only “family” in prison. While searching for valuables in Genoveva’s apartment, a sudden and unexpected encounter takes place between the two, leading to a strange deal: Vasil must kill her, and in return, she will leave everything she owns to him. Soon, however, unforeseen circumstances begin to delay the fulfillment of the agreement.
