Who is the singer of the Bulgarian village? Who is the ultimate master of the short story? Through one of the most significant intellectual scandals of its time, the film tells the story of two literary giants – Elin Pelin and Yordan Yovkov. The goal is to highlight their similarities and differences while breaking the traditional school clichés, presenting them to the younger generation in a relatable and provocative way. The film encourages a rethinking of their legacy and challenges trivial perceptions of these Bulgarian classics.
