“1 Sea” is a run along the shore of inspiration – a visual narrative documenting the first complete run along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. In 2024, Silvia Kiosseva and her team took on a bold challenge, covering 400 km from Durankulak in the north to Rezovo in the south. The film is not merely a chronicle of an athletic feat but an ode to the magic of the native seaside. Journeying through sand dunes and rocky cliffs, this grueling yet inspiring expedition reveals the strength of the human spirit and the raw beauty of the Bulgarian sea.
Silvia Kiosseva
Silvia Kiosseva is an established tourism manager and an active athlete. She graduated from Bocconi University in Milan and gained extensive international experience working for prestigious hotel chains in Italy and Ireland. Today, she manages a family-owned hotel in Sunny Beach and serves on the Board of the Bulgarian Tourist Chamber. Silvia is the organizer of the Nessebar Half Marathon and a dedicated mentor for young people. “1 Sea” marks her directorial debut, blending her passion for running with her mission to promote Bulgaria’s natural treasures. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the National Academy of Arts.
