This is a tale of family issues that emerge due to a shift in lifestyle upon moving to a new country, driven by a strong aspiration to improve their circumstances. Shaqa and Selvia opt to challenge their sense of “morality” in pursuit of a brighter future. Conversely, Giovanni’s unintentional involvement steers their chosen path in an unforeseen direction. However, their journey does not culminate as they initially anticipated.

Alban Zogjani

Born in 1986 in Pristina, in 2005 he founded ASHA, which at first operated only as a graphic services company, to add video production services in 2007. In 2014, he also created a marketing agency: One Shop – Stop. During this time, he finished his studies at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, Faculty of Graphic Design, to then continue in the Film Directing department. After the university and business experience, he made his first short film “Dear Nita” which bears the seal of ASHA as film company and won the”Barcelona Film Festival” award. He continues his successful film journey with “EHO”, a film by Dren Zherka – which won the “Silver Zenith” award in the debut film category at the Montreal World Film Festival. Okarina is Zogjani’s debut feature film as a film director.
