In the autumn of 1885, Tsvetan Radoslavov returned to his homeland from his studies in Prague and Vienna, where a few months earlier he had composed the song “Dear Motherland.” The documentary traces the life of our distinguished erudite and the story of our national anthem.

Stanimir Trifonov
Stanimir Trifonov is a Bulgarian director, screenwriter, and producer, born in 1958 in Veliko Tarnovo. He graduated in film and television directing from VITIZ “Krastyo Sarafov.” His career began in 1986 at Bulgarian Television, later managing Film Studio “Vreme” (2002–2010). He teaches in the field of cinema and is a professor at the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
