For 15 years, the former piano wunderkind Jenny was imprisoned for a murder she didn’t commit. Since her release, she has tried to numb her self-hatred with prayer at a Christian halfway house. When she meets Omar, a Syrian refugee with a gift for singing, she agrees to play piano for him in a televised music talent show. Appearing on the show also forces Jenny to confront the real perpetrator of the crime she was convicted for.
