One of the last nomadic Pomak families in Bulgaria search for the finest grazing fields for their cows and lovingly make traditional dairy products to sustain themselves, defending their livelihood and freedom despite growing legal restrictions.

Nevena Semova is a producer, director and festival programmer (RIFF), graduate of the Kinoeyes Master’s programme and founder of Attic Films. Alumna of New Producer’s Room (Cannes 2023), Development Angels Programme (Less is More 2024) and ProPro Producer’s Programme for Women (2025).
